Product Description

Thanksgiving has arrived in Harvest Junction, and Trainland is filled with pumpkins, autumn leaves, festival decorations, and the smell of holiday treats. Tanner, Tyler, and Ryan are enjoying the celebration when Tyler spots something unusual tucked beneath the Trainland Station clock—an old-fashioned Thanksgiving excursion ticket. On the back is a handwritten clue: “Begin where every journey starts.”
That first clue sends the three young detectives on a ticket trail through Harvest Junction. At the ticket booth, they discover another clue. From there, the mystery leads them to the Silver Rail Diner, the old Harvest Junction Depot, the roundhouse, and finally the library. Each stop reveals another cream-colored ticket and another piece of Harvest Junction’s railroad history. Tanner begins to realize that whoever created the trail wants them to do more than solve a puzzle—they are being asked to remember the places and people that helped shape the town.
The final ticket sends them back to Trainland Station, where the mystery is revealed. Mr. Whitaker created the trail, with help from friends around town, to revive the memory of an old Harvest Junction Thanksgiving excursion that once brought families together for meals, music, and visits. The real treasure was never hidden gold or a secret prize. It was remembering friendship, community, history, and the things for which people are thankful. ving pie. As the boys celebrate together beneath the station clock, Tyler decides the mystery was really about thankfulness, friendship, history—and pie.
