Product Description

On Christmas Eve in snowy Harvest Junction, Tanner receives an unusual silver conductor’s watch and a mysterious ticket for the Trainland Christmas Express — Ten Years From Today. Moments later, he finds himself transported to a dazzling future version of Trainland, where futuristic technology stands alongside carefully preserved railroad history.
As Tanner explores, he discovers that the adventures he and Tyler once shared have become part of Trainland’s history. He visits the Christmas History Trail, encounters the Tyler Theory Generator, and sees reminders of mysteries that have become legends. But the celebration has a problem: the enormous golden star atop Trainland’s Christmas tree will not light.
While everyone looks for a modern technical solution, Tanner notices something others have overlooked—the star is connected to an older part of Trainland. Following the evidence, he traces an old wire to the preserved ticket booth and discovers a forgotten switch marked CHRISTMAS STAR. Tanner throws the switch just in time, illuminating the star as the North Star Limited arrives.
Before returning home, Tanner encounters someone unexpected: an eighteen-year-old Tyler. Tanner wants to know what happens to them in the years ahead, but Tyler tells him that some parts of the future are not meant to be revealed yet. He offers only one mysterious piece of advice: “Do not forget the star.”
Tanner returns to Harvest Junction, where almost no time has passed. Then, beneath the Christmas tree, he discovers one final surprise—a miniature golden star with a message for “the detective who remembers to look back.”
